About the company
From grid maintenance to running the power plant: the company keeps the Mangystau oil fields supplied with electricity.
Mangistauenergomunai LLP was founded on 25 January 1995 and has been a wholly owned subsidiary of NC KazMunayGas JSC since 23 December 2016. The partnership is a diversified company in the power industry. Its core business is supplying electricity to consumers, maintaining the electrical networks at the Kalamkas and Zhetybai fields and running the 2×45 MW gas turbine power plant at Kalamkas. The plant is owned by Mangistaumunaigas: the partnership is responsible for its technical operation and is not a power-generating organisation. The 2017–2018 transformation made the partnership one of the country's major oilfield service companies.
