About us
Mangistauenergomunai LLP was founded on 25 January 1995 and has been a wholly owned subsidiary of NC KazMunayGas JSC since 23 December 2016. The partnership is a diversified company in the power industry.
About the company
The partnership was established on 25 January 1995 on the basis of the electrical shop (PRTsEO) of the Komsomolskneft oil and gas production department and the PTS-4 unit of the Uzenenergoneft production department.
In 1998 the scope of operations expanded: the Zhetybai site became part of the partnership. Since 23 December 2016 the company has been a wholly owned first-tier subsidiary of KazMunayGas.
Its core business is supplying electricity to consumers, maintaining the electrical networks at the Kalamkas and Zhetybai fields and running the 2×45 MW gas turbine power plant at Kalamkas. The plant is owned by Mangistaumunaigas: the partnership is responsible for its technical operation and is not a power-generating organisation. The 2017–2018 transformation made the partnership one of the country's major oilfield service companies.
