Dear colleagues!

On 8 September 2022, the 7th annual Forum of General Directors of NC KazMunayGas JSC was held on the theme "Leadership in Industrial Safety. New Challenges and Approaches". The forum was attended by members of the Board of Directors and the Management Board of NC KazMunayGas JSC, heads of KMG subsidiaries and affiliates, and representatives and speakers from foreign companies.

The forum focused on key issues of industrial safety, occupational health and environmental protection, protecting employees' lives and health, and ensuring environmental safety in the regions where the KMG group operates.

Our partnership was recognised for effectively introducing tools to ensure 100% safety in production. This is a great honour for our partnership: for us, human life is the most precious treasure.

This year we plan to implement the requirements of API Spec Q2 — a pressing task for oilfield service companies, without which we may face difficulties in operating both abroad and in our own country. The requirements of API Spec Q2 differ significantly from those of ISO 9001 (both the 2008 and 2015 versions) and are stricter.

At the same time, the standard is based on best practices for assuring the quality of oilfield services. The overall philosophy of the standards — an organisation's focus on quality assurance and customer satisfaction — brings their requirements closer together and, with due effort, allows them to be properly integrated into a single Quality Management System.
